The Repercussions Of Sin.

I wish you all a Happy New Month!

I am certain that many of us would not be present to witness the beginning of a new month as it is today if it weren't for the Lord's mercies and faithfulness. In fact, In my capacity as a person, I am grateful to the Lord God Almighty for sparing both my life and the lives of others I care about.

Throughout the previous months, the Lord had provided for us, shielded us from dangers both known and unknown, and prevented the enemy from destroying our lives. May the Lord's name be praised forever in Jesus name.

Today, my topic is 'Repercussions of Sin.' Sin has various repercussions, including a miserable life without God. Sin's effects are both spiritual and physical.

Addiction to sin is a severe issue that affects today's youngsters on a regular basis. This is true despite the fact that adults are not excluded. While the pleasure of sin may at first seem alluring, it typically doesn't merit continued praise.

The sorrow that will remain in this world far outweighs any pleasures that come from living a sinful life and the endless torment that lies in wait for man in the afterlife.

Romans 6:23; For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Please take the time to read all I've written here carefully; knowing more about God will benefit you, I can assure you.

Thank you for reading this message, and may God richly reward you.

(1) Introduction

Proverbs 14:34 from the Bible states; Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.

The Oxford Online Dictionary defines repercussions as an unintended consequence of an event or action, especially an unwelcome one.

Sin, according to the Bible, is a reproach. Anyone who acts in sin is subject to condemnation. Look very closely; where there is sin, there is suffering. Given the repercussions sin brings, we must stop living in sin.

(2) The Repercussions Of Sin.
Sin is a transgression of the law and command of God. There are numerous spiritual and physical repercussions of sin.

What Are Sin's Repercussions?
A》Our relationship with God is severed when we commit sin. When sin entered anyone's life, it obstructed their cordial relationship with God.

This is referred to as a separation in the Bible. This is why it's crucial to discipline ourselves in accordance with God's living word.

Isaiah 59:1 Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:

Isaiah 59:2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

B》Sin prevented us from connecting with our Creator God, the source of everything we have and, most importantly, of our salvation.

Saul, a former king of Israel, was prevented from having any contact with God as a result of his sin of rebellion. Because of how dire things were, he was forced to look for alternatives when he couldn't hear from God.

He returned in search of the witches and familiar spirits he had formerly despised. He returned to search for people who practiced familiar spirits and witchcraft, something he had previously detested.

1 Samuel 28:7; Then said Saul unto his servants, Seek me a woman that hath a familiar spirit, that I may go to her, and enquire of her. And his servants said to him, Behold, there is a woman that hath a familiar spirit at Endor.

1 Samuel 28:15; And Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up? And Saul answered, I am sore distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God is departed from me, and answereth me no more, neither by prophets, nor by dreams: therefore I have called thee, that thou mayest make known unto me what I shall do.

This was the person who gave the order to execute all witches and wizards in the land of Israel. He couldn't escape because of his sin. The next day, he died beside his innocent sons on the battlefield.

C》Sin's aftereffects include uncertainty, guilt, shame, and a lack of direction.

D》 Sin Leads To Reproaches.
Wasn't the adultery that David committed when he impregnated Bathsheba, Uriah's wife, and murdered the husband on the battlefield a reproach for a former reigning Israelite king?

He might have lost his empire if it weren't for God's benevolence. The adulterous act, however, resulted in the infant being struck dead.

If you are leading this kind of life, you should immediately repent and ask God for forgiveness.

2 Samuel 11:14.
And it came to pass in the morning, that David wrote a letter to Joab, and sent it by the hand of Uriah.

2 Samuel 11:15.
And he wrote in the letter, saying, Set ye Uriah in the forefront of the hottest battle, and retire ye from him, that he may be smitten, and die.

Anyone who is living in sin must be aware of the effects of their actions, repent, and receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

If you haven't already, turn to God in repentance, since continuing in sin is detrimental to your soul.
The worst kind of death is spiritual death. Sinful living is physically degrading and spiritually fatal.

(3) Spiritual Repercussions of Sin.
One of the spiritual repercussions of sin is confusion. Didn't Adam and Eve flee from God as soon as they disobeyed Him in the idyllic relationship they once shared in the Garden of Eden? That's correct, it is. Guilt, confusion, and a sense of purposelessness led to their behavior.

Genesis 3:8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.

The Human's Soul
The word of God and a person's soul are the only things that, according to the Bible, will endure forever. You must not let your desire to possess the entire world get the better of you. You will one day stand before God to answer for your deeds while you were on earth, whether you believe it or not.

Regarding one area where negligence will never be accepted, our Lord Jesus asked some thought-provoking questions.

Matthew 16:26;
“For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?”

Since human souls will continue to exist after this life ends, whether they are in heaven (a place prepared for God's people) or hell fire (an eternal place of torment for those who rejected God's free gift of salvation before death),

Luke 16:24;
And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

Let it sink in that everything that is important in this world will inevitably vanish one day. Money, luxurious homes and automobiles, and technological advancement will all cease.

The question that only the wise can answer is, "Where will you spend your eternity?"

What would you gain if you gained the entire Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube?

I wonder what you would gain if you gained the whole world at the cost of your soul.

The Bible calls fame and stardom, regardless of who you are, "vanity upon vanity," a reference to anyone who does not have Jesus as Lord and Savior.

4》 Physical Repercussions of Sin
Sin has physical repercussions that are real. This could potentially cause physical problems.

》 Prostitution And Spoking
Those living a deliberate sinful life are more prone to sexually transmitted diseases, and smoking, which is widely considered an unhealthy habit, is very dangerous to health.

》 Robberies
Robberies are crimes that can result in fatalities, lengthy prison sentences, and even damaged homes.

Anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues were more likely to occur as a result of sinful activity.

Additionally, sinners are more inclined to participate in risky activities that could endanger their lives.

One instance is Judas Iscariot. After realizing what he had done by betraying Jesus, he returned the money he had taken from the pharisees. Sadly, for him, it was already too late.

Judas Iscariot discovered his relationships with the other apostles of Jesus were affected, and he found it difficult to bear. He presumably reflected on the enjoyable time they had serving alongside one another.

Judas could have thought of ways to restore the trust he had broken with his master and principal disciples like Peter, James, and John. As soon as he realized there was no hope, he committed suicide.

Matthew 27:3;
Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,

Matthew 27:4; Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that.

Matthew 27:5; And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.

One of the physical repercussions of sin is that it makes rebuilding broken relationships with others more difficult.

These days, several churches have established doctrines that give them the right to suspend or excommunicate members who commit sin. That can lead to a sense of loneliness and isolation.

5》 Conclusion
In all honesty, living a sinful life with all of its repercussions is nothing to brag about. Then you'll need to understand why the Bible mentions two potential afterlife scenarios: eternal bliss in Heaven and an agonizing and tormenting fire in hell.

You have the option while you are still alive. You have the choice to either change your direction and stop the sinfulness or go on as usual. But there is a way if all you want is to live a Christlike life accompanied by heavenly guidance, peace, and divine direction.

Please give this decision considerable thought this month. It is the most significant choice you will ever have to make.

Acts 2:21 reads the following: And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

A very straightforward decision can be made now, and it must be followed through at all costs.

In my opinion, as long as you are alive, it is never too late to turn to Jesus in repentance. However, you can never predict what lies ahead of you or when or where death may strike.

And when that happens, the door of mercy will be closed, and at that point, there will be no second chance. Then it will be too late. The most crucial matter, like your salvation, should not be postponed today.

The repercussions of sin are tough to deal with, but there is only one way to truly find the healing we all crave and receive the real peace all humans long for. Jesus Is the Answer!

Say The Prayer Below.

Lord Jesus, I am a sinner. I confess that you are the Son of God, that you died on the cross at Calvary in atonement for my sins, and that you rose from the dead on the third day for my justification. Today, I receive Jesus as my Lord and personal Savior. I am saved in Jesus name.
